What to expect

Your appointment

1

Brief on-arrival screening (5 min)

A trained clinical staff member confirms your suitability based on your online questionnaire and a quick check.

2

IV infusion (45–55 min)

The energy blend is administered in our private treatment room. Some patients feel a mild metallic taste during the vitamin push — this is normal and brief.

3

Brief recovery (5 min)

A short period of observation after the infusion, then you're free to leave. Many patients notice increased alertness within hours.

Pre-treatment blood test — may be required

For most patients, no blood test is needed before a single session. If you're having repeated treatments or have ongoing fatigue, we recommend testing Vitamin Profile, Thyroid, Iron Status or HbA1c — to identify the underlying cause and target treatment more accurately.

Frequently Asked

Energy Support IV — FAQs

How quickly will I feel an energy boost?
Many patients report increased alertness and clearer thinking within 1–4 hours after the drip. The full effects build over the following 24–48 hours as your body utilises the B vitamins and CoQ10.
How long does the effect last?
Most patients feel the benefits for 1–4 weeks, depending on individual factors like sleep, diet and stress levels. If you have an underlying deficiency, the effects may be more pronounced and longer-lasting once corrected.
How often should I have this drip?
For acute fatigue or post-illness recovery, every 2–3 weeks for 3 sessions is typical. For ongoing wellness, every 4–6 weeks works well. We'll agree a schedule on the day based on your goals.
Why might I need a blood test first?
Persistent fatigue can have many causes — low B12, iron deficiency, underactive thyroid, or metabolic issues. A blood test helps identify the underlying cause so we can target your treatment more effectively rather than treating symptoms alone.
Will I feel the metallic taste during the vitamin push?
Yes, briefly. Most patients notice a mild metallic or vitamin taste during the B-complex push — this is completely normal and disappears within seconds. Some patients sip water during this part.
Can I have caffeine before or after?
Yes — caffeine doesn't interfere with the drip. However, many patients find they need less caffeine after Energy Support sessions as their underlying energy levels improve naturally.
Can this drip help with brain fog?
Many patients report clearer thinking after Energy Support, especially when brain fog is linked to B12 or magnesium deficiency. If brain fog persists, we may recommend further testing or different treatment approaches.
Is it safe to combine with caffeine or energy drinks?
Yes — there are no contraindications with normal caffeine intake. However, we recommend avoiding energy drinks for the day of treatment to avoid masking how the drip is making you feel.
Is it safe if I'm pregnant?
We do not recommend elective IV nutrient therapy during pregnancy. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to conceive, please note this on the suitability form.
Where is the clinic?
