Advanced Metabolic Health
Eighteen markers across blood sugar, insulin, cholesterol particles, inflammation and lipoprotein (a) — a joined-up view of metabolic and heart health from one home sample.
Everything you need to know about Advanced Metabolic Health
Metabolic health is about how your body handles sugar and fat — and when it starts to go wrong, the changes usually show in the blood years before a diagnosis of type 2 diabetes or heart disease. This kit brings those early signals together. HbA1c, fasting glucose, insulin and C-peptide show how well you control blood sugar and how hard your pancreas is working to do it; adiponectin, a hormone made by fat tissue, adds to the picture of insulin sensitivity.
On the heart side it goes beyond standard cholesterol to LDL, small dense LDL, apolipoproteins A-I, B and E, and lipoprotein (a) — an inherited risk factor a normal cholesterol test misses — with CRP and high-sensitivity CRP for inflammation. Our clinical team brings the results together and explains what they mean for you.
